USMC to receive 800 more InstantEye sUAS
InstantEye Robotics has received an order from the US Navy and Marine Corps Small Tactical Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program Office to supply an additional 800 InstantEye Mk-2 GEN3-A0 small UAS.
The additional systems will provide organic surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities in support of deployed marine infantry squads.
The mid-sized, highly agile Mk-2 GEN3 UAS can carry payloads of up to 1.5lbs. The day/night system can operate in all weather conditions, including winds up to 30mph, from a moving ground or maritime position. It is capable of interfacing with external payloads that are attached based on mission needs.
