Singapore Airshow 2018: Pengiun C completes hot weather upgrades

UAV Factory’s Penguin C aircraft has been displayed for the first time in Asia-Pacific following the completion of hot-weather modifications to its engine and catapult to enable improved performance in such environments.

The work will improve operating capabilities in hot and dusty environments up to a temperature of 55°C, and it was concluded in December 2017.

Konstantins Krivovs, business development manager, said that the modifications ‘had been designed’ for regions such as Asia-Pacific for use in ‘semi-military’ roles such as border protection, SAR and security.
