RT Logic Announces Test Range, UAV, Target and Missile Communications Test Solutions that Require No Flying Assets
Integral Systems, Inc. will highlight two new Telemetrix(R) products of its wholly owned subsidiary, RT Logic, this week at MILCOM 2008, Booth 842 at the San Diego Conference Center.
The new products enable full-loop communications system testing at Radio Frequency (RF) or Intermediate Frequency (IF) without the expense and hazard of actual flights. Both systems include precision channel simulation, extensive visualization, and easy development of sophisticated scenarios for low-cost stationary testing of communications links involving moving objects.
Range operators can conduct comprehensive range readiness tests with the new Telemetrix(R) T400RTS. T400RTS-based testing requires no flights to create RF at tracking sites that precisely matches what will be received during an actual mission. The tracking sites then perform their usual range functions but with T400RTS-generated RF. The T400RTS facilitates full-loop range system tests involving multiple or single tracking sites.
The new Telemetrix(R) T400UTM is focused on UAV, Target and Missile communications test applications. The instrument enables in-depth receive and transmit system testing from proof-of-concept, through research and development, to intermediate and final production test. Also without requiring flights, hardware-in-the-loop testing with the T400UTM easily validates worst-case and nominal communications link operation for flight systems or ground stations, including a variety of channel effects.
The T400RTS and T400UTM products are members of RT Logic's expanding Telemetrix(R) product line, and both include RT Logic's T400CS Channel Simulator for smooth precision RF/IF communications link simulation. The Channel Simulator adds phase-continuous and dynamic Doppler, delay, fading and AWGN perturbations to input signals, precisely duplicating these signal effects from an actual flight.
