Naval Group, ECA Group team for unmanned MCM
Naval Group has established a technological and commercial partnership with ECA Group to offer unmanned mine-hunting solutions for Belgian and Dutch naval forces, the company announced on 11 October.
Together the companies will respond to the consultation launched by Belgium for Belgian-Dutch cooperation for the supply of 12 mine hunters. The partnership aims to offer military mine countermeasure vessels integrated with UAS, sonars, sweep and remotely operated systems.
The two companies have formed a project management team based in Belgium, which will work with local partners on the project.
