Kochav UAV operational in Israel

The Israeli Air Force (IAF) has indicated that its Hermes 900 UAV, known as Kochav, is now operational following crew and flight integration tests.

Tests were led by the IAF’s flight test squadron (FTS) and included examination of all of the aircraft’s systems and capabilities. Tests were conducted at the UAV squadron in Palmahim AFB which operates the platform.

The test series included over twenty sorties of the Elbit Systems-built aircraft, according to the IAF.
