Israeli drone boutique in major pilot security project

CopterPix Pro, a small Israeli startup is embarking on an innovative homeland security pilot project together with the local council of Hof Ashkelon, a coastal town on the border with the Gaza Strip, using drones manufactured for special missions with an autonomous system for patrolling.

Based on a kibbutz (a communal agricultural settlement) on the Gaza border, the company describes itself as a 'boutique workshop developing and implementing advance technologies.'

Alon Svirsky, CEO of CopterPix Pro, told Shephard that they have submitted an application to the Israeli Innovation Authority to set up a system of patrolling using their drones
