Herons to migrate to Vietnam

It is believed that Vietnam has ordered the Heron UAVs from Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), with a contract apparently being signed in recent days.

Vietnam is acquiring three UAVs plus a ground control station from IAI for an alleged price of somewhere between $140 million and $160 million. However, as is typical for Vietnamese military procurements, details about the sale remain obscure and it is still not even clear which Heron variant Vietnam is buying.
