Hermes bags new customer in Philippines
The Philippines is expected to receive a first Hermes 450 MALE UAV from Elbit Systems sometime before the year’s end.
The first aircraft ‘was supposed to arrive in August 2018’, but delays in payment by the Department of Budget Management had pushed back the original schedule, the Philippine blogsite MaxDefense Philippines revealed on 22 August.
Elbit promised early delivery of one UAV to the Philippines, which can be used for training purposes.
