Hatchet hits target in unmanned testing

Orbital ATK is on target to reach technology readiness level (TRL) 7 with its Hatchet munition by the end of 2018.

Previously, Orbital ATK and its industry partners conducted a successful, self-funded captive carry test with a RQ-21A Blackjack, currently in service with the US Marine Corps and US Navy. 

Testing of the munition is set to be completed by the end of the year.
