GA-ASI receives additional MQ-9 services funding
General Atomics Aeronautical Systems (GA-ASI) will provide Group 5 UAS services under a contract modification issued by US Naval Air Systems Command on 10 February.
The $7.8 million modification provides for Group UAS intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance services. The services will support outside the continental US Task Force Southwest and US Marine Corps operations using contractor-owned/contractor-operated MQ-9 UAS.
The work will run through to May 2020.
