FIDAE: ScanEagle offered to Brazil
The Insitu ScanEagle UAV completed a maritime demonstration with the Brazilian Navy on 17 February, Shephard has learned.
Speaking at the FIDAE exhibition in Santiago, Juan Gomez, the director of international business development at Insitu, told Shephard that a Brazilian Navy competition is expected with a request for proposal due at the end of the year or in early 2015.
