Falco gets maritime radar as Evo marketing gets underway

Although the Falco platform is in use with five customers, and the larger Evo variant is nearing the end of its flight test programme, Selex Galileo continue to develop the system.

The company have successfully flown their Gabbiano T-20 radar on a Falco aircraft, and several airframes have been manufactured outside Italy under an offset project with one of the system's customers.

'The standard basic configuration for Falco is dual payload,' said Fabio Pauluzzo, head of UAS at Selex's UAS manufacturing and development facility. The system generally carries an electro-optical/infra-red sensor ball under its fuselage, and a radar - options
