Eurosatory 2018: Integration effort for Skylock counter-UAS system

11th June 2018 - 15:00 GMT | by Richard Thomas in Paris

The growth in counter-UAS systems has followed an increase in the availability of inexpensive consumer or commercial platforms that pose security threats for industrial facilities, transport hubs and elsewhere.

While there are a range of individual systems available on the market, both in terms of initial detection but also subsequent hard or soft effectors, the number of integrated multiple sensor and mission kill systems is vastly smaller.

The value of such integration enables much wider range of capabilities and function brought into a single system and options for operators in terms of how to counter a growing range of threats.
