European MALE RPAS builds toward development contract signature
Industry partners involved in the multinational European MALE RPAS effort are set to be awarded with a first full programme contract in 2020, a development that follows an ‘intense convergence phase’ between all parties.
Confirming the move during an Airbus trade media briefing, Jana Rosenmann, head of UAS at Airbus Defence and Space said that the contract would be delivered ahead of the ‘final scope and price’ of the platform being finalised – with those discussions currently in motion.
