Dubai Airshow 2017: UMS Skeldar soaring into Middle East
UMS Skeldar will be conducting flight campaigns with its R-350 VTOL platform in the Middle Eastern region next year.
A new enhanced version of the R-350 is being positioned by the company. The ITAR-free light tactical high-performance UAV has the capacity to carry payloads of up to 30kg for over two hours. It has a jet-turbine engine propulsion system.
David Willems, head of business development at UMS Skeldar, said that the new iteration of the R-350 has increased stability further to development and additions to the avionics suite are making it more modular through software improvements.
