AUSA 2019: WAMI pod to take to the skies

US engineering and technology company Logos Technologies has unveiled a new Multi-Modal Sensor Pod (MMSP) at AUSA 2019 and outlined plans for the first flight of its BlackKite IR wide-area motion imagery (WAMI) pod, a further development of its RedKite EO system.

The MMSP is designed for use on fixed wing and rotary manned aircraft as well as Group 3-5 UAVs and uses three sensors –large format camera, spectrometer, and ultra-high definition camera – to provide multi-layered correlated information.
