AUSA 2017: US Army eyes Nightwarden

Alongside showcasing its Nightwarden UAS to the US Army for the first time at AUSA, Textron Systems has also made gains with its Shadow V2 upgrade programme.

The company said that Nightwarden had been well received by the service during the event and questions had been asked regarding when the company could be production ready with the Fury weapon system payload.

When asked, Bill Irby, senior VP of unmanned systems, could not confirm to Shephard when this would be, however the Nightwarden UAS itself has been production ready since its launch.
