Arcturus to launch JUMP 20 UAV next month

California-based unmanned aerial vehicle manufacturer Arcturus UAV will fly the first production model of its JUMP 20 aircraft in January. 

Arcturus UAV president D’Milo Hallerberg confirmed the news in an interview with Shephard.

The JUMP 20 - a modified T-20 aircraft - forms part of a family of vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) UAVs unveiled by the company earlier this year.

The 20 model will share similar features to the smaller JUMP 15. VTOL operations are made possible by four vertical lift motors and rotors mounted on two booms under each wing.
