Adcom targets UK production

UAE-based UAV manufacturer Adcom are looking to start UK production of its United 40 platform and conduct its first in-country flight next year.

The company has established a UK division, headquartered in Bournemouth, after partnering with air and ground solutions firm DO Systems and is also building a production facility at a temporary site in Wales.

Discussions are ongoing about a permanent facility within the principality and flight testing will take place from Qinetiq's Llanbedr Airfield.
