AAD 2016: Mbombe 8 completes family
Paramount Group has launched its Mbombe 8 vehicle at AAD 2016 in South Africa, it is an 8x8 variant of its Mbombe armoured vehicle range.
The company was also touting its new strapline ‘We make it African’, and highlighted the domestic design and manufacturing base it was harnessing to develop and build the vehicles.
Paramount is emphasising the African connection as it already launched the Mbombe 8 in Kazakhstan earlier this year where the company opened a factory in December 2015.
The factory has the capacity to build 150-200 armoured vehicles per year.
