Arlington, Virginia-based CACI has announced that it has been awarded ‘prime position on a multiple-award, ID/IQ contract’ worth up to $192 million to provide training and curriculum development work for the US Naval Education and Training Command (NETC).

NETC is responsible for the training and development of US Navy personnel to ensure fleet readiness. Under the terms of the contract, CACI will support US Navy training and distance learning objectives by developing and delivering instructor-based learning and modular, scalable, interactive solutions for mobile and desk-top devices.

CACI chief operating officer and president of US Operations John Mengucci said: ‘CACI’s experts in curriculum design and instruction offer cost-effective training that can be delivered in a variety of settings and on multiple devices. We will provide the US Navy with engaging, effective instruction that helps ensure our forces are prepared for the complexities of modern naval warfare.’

According to CACI president and CEO Ken Asbury: ‘CACI has developed and delivered hundreds of hours of interactive multimedia instruction for the Department of Defense and federal civilian agencies.

'As our government customers seek more efficient, just-in-time training, CACI is ready with innovative solutions that prepare personnel and ensure mission readiness.’
