​SOFINS: Anti-UAV rifle targets the drones

Monaco-based company MC-CLIC presented its anti-UAV rifle at the SOFINS exhibition, near Bordeaux, which was developed to meet a requirement from the government of the Principality of Monaco in 2015.

While company employees at the event were only able to provide limited information on the system due to security constraints, they explained that Monaco wanted a system that could neutralise UAVs approaching the Prince's palace.

MC-CLIC began working on a prototype and completed development of its anti-UAV rifle in less than eight months.
