SOCOM moves from ThunderDrone to Game of Drones

In the aftermath of its recently-completed ThunderDrone Prototype Rodeo, held in early November at the SOFWERX facility in the Ybor City area of Tampa, Florida, USSOCOM is preparing to host a second ThunderDrone Rapid Prototyping Event (RPE) Tech Expo.

ThunderDrone is a USSOCOM initiative dedicated to drone prototyping, which focuses on exploring drone technologies through idea formation, testing, and demonstrating efforts. The activities are conducted collaboratively with the Department of Defense's Strategic Capabilities Office.
