Saab seeks 'efficiencies' at Kockums naval site
Saab has affirmed its commitment to its Kockums business area, which focuses around the design, manufacture and sustainment of naval surface and subsurface platforms, during a briefing on 11 February outlining the Q4 and 2020 full-year financial results.
The majority of Saab’s business areas outlined growth during 2020, even taking into account the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. A company release stated that defence business showed ‘solid’ performance, with five of six business areas reporting positive sales growth.
In addition, sales were up 4%, excluding adjustments in Q3 related to COVID-19 and despite the downturn in the civil aviation
