Naval Group CEO confident on export and cooperation strategy
Naval Group's CEO teased an announcement on cooperation with Fincantieri as he expressed confidence in the company’s export strategy despite growing competition for key shipbuilding programmes.
The company is continuing to make moves on joint cooperation with Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri regarding a shareholding of the STX France shipyard.
Speaking to journalists during a 15 October conference call Hervé Guillou, CEO at Naval Group, emphasised the company’s European alliances. To this end he hinted at an announcement during next week’s Euronaval event in Paris regarding the company’s joint efforts with Italy’s Fincantieri.
