Ukroboronprom to produce M16
Ukroboronprom company Ukroboronservis has announced that it will work with US company Aeroscraft to produce NATO standard small arms weapons in Ukraine. Ukroboronprom announced the news on 3 January.
The first project under the memorandum of cooperation will be the M16 automatic rifle model WAC47 for the Ukrainian Army.
The transition to international NATO standards is a part of the reform and development of Ukraine’s domestic defence industry.
Aeroscraft specialises in the manufacture of innovative aircraft, guard towers and small arms.
