UK pushes on with autonomous Last Mile challenge
The UK MoD’s Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL) is pushing ahead with development of an autonomous resupply solution, adding a third phase and further tests to the Autonomous Last Mile Resupply challenge, following experiments on Salisbury Plain.
During phase three the DSTL will be looking to get the autonomous equipment into operation in the hands of potential military users rather than them being controlled by specialised users as was the case during phase two.
Between now and the official conclusion of phase two in summer 2019 the DSTL have schedules further experiments to follow up from those conducted on
