Saab to supply Carl-Gustaf ammo to Estonia
Saab has received an ammunition order for the Carl-Gustaf man-portable weapon system from the Estonian Centre for Defence Investment, the company announced on 18 July.
The $20.9 million order has been placed under a framework agreement with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration that allows Estonia to order from Saab. Deliveries will be made during 2018-2019.
The Carl-Gustaf M4 is a shoulder-launched, multi-role weapon system with improved ergonomics and lightweight design that offers better mobility to the soldier.
