SA-10U production begins in Ukraine
Ukroboronprom’s Impulse has launched production of the SA-10U vehicle for the Ukrainian Army, the company announced on 29 January.
The vehicle is designed to provide secure communications during operations for units at the tactical level.
The SA-10U uses a variety of communication channels, including satellite, and is protected against electronic warfare attacks.
The vehicle has undergone testing during 2016 and 2017 and has been accepted into service by the Ukraine armed forces.
Three quarters of SA-10U components were developed and manufactured by Impulse, while the rest of components were manufactured by European partners.
