Juniper Systems, Inc. announces new OD Green/NATO Green Archer Field PC
Juniper Systems, Inc. announces the new OD Green/NATO Green color option as an enhancement to the Archer Field PC. This rugged handheld computer is designed to meet and exceed stringent military specifications, making the Archer the ideal choice for military applications. Designed for use in the field, the Archer is compact and lightweight, yet extremely durable against harsh environments often present in the defense of freedom.
“The OD Green/NATO Green Archer Field PC provides a custom-built product for military customers,” John Florio, Sr. Product Manager of Juniper Systems, Inc. said. “We design and test at the highest levels for MIL-STD-810F field rugged durability, ensuring our products continue in the tradition of utmost quality and ruggedness.”
The Archer Field PC is tested to IP67 and MIL-STD-810F standards for water, humidity, sand and dust, vibration, altitude, shock, and temperature. It also meets the COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) requirements for rugged handheld computers. The OD Green/NATO Green color is defined by US and European military forces as a color commonly used in COTS products. The Archer’s many military uses include ballistics calculations, radio configuration, data collection, logistics, asset mapping, and diagnostic applications.
