Inkas Huron destined for Colombia
An initial order of four INKAS Huron 4x4 APCs has been made by the Colombian Ministry of National Defence.
Ordered in May, the four vehicles will be configured for command and control functions and assigned to the Colombian National Police (PNC) which is subordinate to the MDN. The PNC will use the Huron for convoy protection duties by the PNC’s Transit and Transport Directorate.
The order follows a recent spike in FARC attacks against commercial trucking on Colombia’s highways.
