IDEX 2011: Paramount teams with IGG for Middle East drive
South African company Paramount Group has entered into an agreement with the United Arab Emirates’ International Golden Group (IGG) as it seeks to export its family of protected vehicles to the Middle East.
Due to be formally signed off at the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX) in Abu Dhabi on 17 February, the agreement is designed to focus on potential requirements in the wider region with particular emphasis on counter-insurgency (COIN) as well as conventional operations.
Speaking to Land Warfare International, Paramount Group business development director David McDonald Joyce said the teaming agreement would initially start by looking at the UAE
