Eurosatory: Patria names concept vehicle
Patria has named its new 8x8 vehicle concept the AMV XP following the vehicle’s launch at DSEI in 2013.
‘The AMV XP is a new generation vehicle which will continue AMVs for the future,’ Markku Bollmann, senior VP of land marketing and sales for Patria, told Shephard.
The AMV XP is an improvement on Patria’s Armoured Modular Vehicle (AMV). ‘The XP stands for the extra payload, performance and protection capability of this new vehicle in comparison to the original AMV,’ Bollmann said.
The new AMV XP weighs 30t and has a maximum payload weight of 13t. The vehicle has
