Eurosatory 2010: Lockheed Martin showcases land offerings
Lockheed Martin was keen to show its expertise in the armoured vehicle domain at this year’s Eurosatory. Morri Leland, director international business development for the company’s tactical missile and combat manoeuvre systems pointed out Lockheed’s position as a major partner or lead on a number of programmes worldwide.
Several of the vehicles the company is involved on are being exhibited at the show, including two of the three variants being offered for the Spanish wheeled armoured vehicle (VBR) programme to replace their existing BMR-600 fleet. The solution is based on Patria’s 8x8 AMV.
