Eurosatory 2010: Iveco presents first MPV
Iveco Defence Vehicles is exhibiting the prototype of the 4 x 4 Medium Protected Vehicle (MPV) developed in collaboration with Germany's Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW).
The teaming arrangement between the two companies to develop a family of vehicles to meet the requirements of the German and Italian armies was announced at Eurosatory 2008. KMW is responsible for developing the monocoque hull which is mounted on a chassis derived from Iveco's Trakker heavy duty truck series.
