Canadian battalions prepare to field new soldier system
The first Argus kits, the chosen system for the Canadian Army’s Integrated Soldier System Programme, are scheduled to be deployed with battalions by June 2018.
After passing the army’s qualification review in July 2017, the Integrated Soldier System (ISS) will undergo testing for NATO STANAG certification later this month and tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP) trials in April, Maj Daniel Thibodeau, project director for ISSP, Canadian Forces told the Future Soldier Technology conference 2018 in London.
