US Army seeks industry support to prepare acquisitions of Group 4+ UAVs
The US Army is keen to hear about vendor designs, strategies and potential hardware and software solutions to inform requirements for procurement efforts.
Bulgaria orders helmets and bulletproof vests
Items to be supplied by local company
The Bulgarian MoD has awarded domestic company Mars Armour a contract to provide 9,200 combat helmets and 9,200 bulletproof vests to the armed forces.
Mars won the contract after a competitive process that attracted five bidders.
This equipment will be provided under a five-year contract worth up to BGN15.33 million ($9.3 million).
According to a contract notice posted on the official EU tenders database, the combat helmet must be capable of ‘attaching additional equipment’.
