AUSA 2017: BAE talks M777 howitzer (video)

BAE Systems' M777 Howitzer has been in service for many decades but the company is continuing to develop the system as new customers come online. 

At the beginning of 2017 the company was awarded a $542 million contract by the US government to manufacture and deliver 145 M777 ultra-lightweight howitzers to the Indian Army. 

Phillip Pearce, senior trials engineer at BAE System, spoke to Shephard about the capability of the gun and future developments.
