Singapore Airshow: Do 228 production ramps up

After series production commenced, the first Dornier 228NG aircraft will roll off the line into a customer’s hands later this year.

With production of the Do 228NG restarting last year after an initial batch of eight was produced earlier this decade, RUAG Aviation was eagerly promoting its aircraft in the Asia-Pacific region during the Singapore Airshow. 

The company already has Asia-Pacific military customers, with two aircraft delivered to the Bangladesh Navy in 2013, more than 100 serving in India, and seven aircraft operated by the Royal Thai Navy.
