DSA 2016: MRI scans SF boat needs
MRI Technologies, a Malaysian shipbuilder founded in 1999, celebrated handover of the last of 20 interceptor boats to the Malaysian Armed Forces on 20 April at DSA 2016.
Adzharry Bin Jabir, executive director of MRI Technologies, said the first delivery occurred ten months ago. The boats, of two types built by Woonam Marine Craft in South Korea, are being used by the Joint Force Command for Operation Pasir in the restive area of Eastern Sabah.
The two boat types are the Poseidon Viper and Poseidon Rover Stingray (pictured above). The former is an 8.18m RHIB, with twin 250hp Yamaha engines
