The Netherlands cleared to purchase $2.2 billion in Tomahawk missiles
The approved purchase is for Tomahawk Block IV and Block V missiles, control systems, telemetry missiles and communication and broadcast systems.
The Russian MoD has placed an order for eight more Raptor (Project 03160) fast patrol boats with Pella shipbuilding company in St Petersburg. The contract was announced on 15 May and will be completed by the end of 2018.
This order comes in addition to eight Raptors already ordered and received, in service with the Black Sea and Baltic fleets, with the first of these commissioned in 2014. The boats is used for littoral operations up 100nm from base, such as patrolling, delivering of landing parties and search and rescue.
Its design is similar to that of the Swedish-made CB90,
