Russian expeditionary logistics in the spotlight
During panel discussions at the 32nd Annual National Logistics Forum, Washington D.C sponsored by the National Defense Industrial Association, service representatives were asked about possible observations regarding Russian logistics and sustainment capabilities in expeditionary environments like Syria.
The question was posed to members of a panel focused on ‘sustaining global engagement,’ and was fielded by Rear Admiral Lee Singleton, US Navy, director of logistics for US European Command.
‘The most startling thing we’ve learned is that they are very, very capable logistically,’ Singleton said.
