Lockheed Martin has launched a new international division as the company attempts to strengthen international partnerships and create new opportunities.
By integrating all of its global activities under Lockheed Martin International (LMI), the company is seeking to increase its international sales.
As the biggest supplier to the Pentagon by revenue, Lockheed Martin is more exposed than other companies to ongoing budget cuts. Like its rivals that are placing fresh emphasis on increasing sales in the emerging markets of the Middle East and Asia, Lockheed Martin is prioritising growth of its export business to offset declining sales in the domestic
