UK helo engine support wanted
Leonardo Helicopters is seeking an engine support provider for the UK Ministry of Defence’s Merlin and Apache helicopters.
Bids are being invited for the £1.1-£1.4 million contract that will cover aircraft engine support of both the UK’s Merlin and Apache AH Mk1 helicopters.
Work will include technical support, maintenance, modification and minor additional technical and engineering support for both aircraft types.
The contract will run from April 2019 through to March 2040.
Both the Merlin and Apache helicopters are equipped with two Safran Helicopter Engines RTM 322 engines.
