No additional S-61T deliveries

The Sikorsky S-61 modernisation programme, which included the upgrading of the S-61T, appears to have stopped with no further platforms being requested by the US State Department - the project was initiated eight years ago.

According to Sikorsky, 13 S-61Ts have been delivered to the US government but for now it seems to be that the S-61T roll-out will not progress any further.

Shephard spoke with Sikorsky about the current status of the S-61T programme and it seems that not much has happened since deliveries in 2014 took place bar support work.
