Russian MoD set to order the Mi-26T2V

The Russian military has revealed plans to order a production batch of the new Mi-26T2V heavy lift helicopter. 

The first Mi-26T2V contract - covering as many as ten helicopters - is scheduled to be inked later on this year, most likely between June and August, according to the Russian deputy defence minister responsible for the procurement, Alexey Krivoruchko.

First deliveries to the Russian military are expected to take place in the second half of 2020 should everything goes up to plan.
