Russian Helicopters collaborates with IHSRC
Russian-produced helicopters operating in Iran will be supported by Iran Helicopter Support and Renewal Company (IHSRC) under a new agreement with Russian Helicopters announced on 17 November.
The agreement covers certified repairs and after-sales support for Iranian-operated Russian helicopters to improve maintenance timescales and helicopter flight safety in-country. It expands on a previously agreed roadmap for the refit of an Mi-17 maintenance and overhaul centre in Iran.
Almost the entire model range of Russian Helicopters’ Mi-17s are in use in Iran, including Mi-17s, Mi-171s, Mi-171Es, Mi-8 MTVs and Mi-17V-5s.
