Peruvian Air Force receives aviation equipment
Russian Helicopters has delivered aviation components to the Peruvian Air Force for its Mi-8/17 and Mi-24/35helicopters, the company announced on 19 May.
The aviation equipment relates to two contracts signed in 2016.
Over 100 Russian-made helicopters are currently in operation in Peru. The Peruvian armed forces deploy the Mi-8/17 and Mi-24/35 helicopters in a range of missions, including the fight against drug trafficking and illegal mining of minerals.
Russian Helicopters provides maintenance of helicopter equipment throughout its life cycle. The company’s after-sales service system ensures repairs and modernisation of helicopters in the shortest possible time, in order to support high readiness for its customers' fleets.
