FMS operators of the AH-64E Apache Guardian attack helicopter will be among the recipients of new mast-mounted assembly and radar units, under a $164.61 million award from US Army Contract Command for Longbow Limited (a JV between Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman).

Bids were solicited via the internet with one received.

Aside from the US Army, the new assembly and radar units will be installed on helicopters operated by India, Morocco, the Netherlands and the UAE.

Work will be performed in Orlando, Florida, with an estimated completion date of 31 December 2022.
