Lockheed Martin to support Saudi Apaches

Lockheed Martin will maintain the Modernized Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensor (M-TADS/PNVS) systems onboard the Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF) Apaches, under a contract announced on 11 February.

The three-year contract, worth $22 million, will see Lockheed Martin provide tools and test equipment to maintain components of the M-TADS/PNVS system installed onboard the RSLF Aviation Command’s 36-strong Apache fleet.

The company will commence in-country M-TADS/PNVS support for the Apaches in the first quarter of 2014, through to contract expiry in 2017.
